Stepping Stones to Milestones

 

Working on yourself should feel empowering

& the techniques should feel the same. 

Steppingstones to Milestones is a service that works with both Neurodivergent & Neurotypical individuals. I am an experienced coach and educator, and I bring years of experience and enthusiasm to my profession. I will evaluate each client to create a person-centered program to help my clients achieve their short-term goals and long-term potential. I have worked with individuals with of diverse ages, abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds. When appropriate, I also provide guidance and support to the families and staff of my clients to help ensure the optimal environment for success.

As your Specialist I will support your goals, listen to your needs, and help you create a program to reach your potential. My mission is to help you identify and expand upon your strengths, and the strategies we will use that are designed to align with your interests so that working towards your goals will not feel overwhelming or unattainable.

ABOUT ME

I am a 2018 graduate of CUNY Queens College with a dual master’s degree, with honors, in general & special education. During my graduate program, I was selected to attend a program in Beijing, China to work at a new school for children with disabilities. While in China, I was part of a group that trained local educators about evidence-based practices and presented seminars to parents and professionals. Additionally, I created a database of resources for the school and showed the local staff how to collect, organize, and implement relevant educational materials. This experience solidified my desire to devote my career to helping people with special needs gain the necessary skills to achieve a fulfilling life.  

During my years undergraduate and graduate student, I have worked consistently as a teacher and gained experience as a coach, teacher’s aide, and direct support professional. After working with the NYC Board of Education for several years, I left the classroom to focus on individual coaching and creating Steppingstones to Milestones.
